Jordan Roddis has managed to raise £5,100 and counting for Blood Bikes Cumbria, by walking 1,000 miles in ONE MONTH!
He set himself daily challenges to reach his 1,000 mile goal, some days walking many miles past his to daily target to account for any unwelcome injuries or unforeseen weather conditions. His vision was to equal the distance from Land’s End and John O’Groats and he smashed his 1,000 mile target with 4 days to spare – an astonishing feat!
His schedule would mean an early get up of 5am to be able to complete his target. From which Jordan himself admitted that it has been very challenging mentally and physically having to deal with the often unpredictable weather conditions like rain, snow, wind and ice – sometimes all at the same time!
By deadline day (January 31.), Jordan had walked a total distance of: 1,026 MILES and in the process raised £5,100 for Blood Bikes Cumbria.
Everyone at Blood Bikes Cumbria is over the moon for Jordan and his achievement, as well as being very humbled and grateful for what Jordan has had to put himself through to complete his achievement for us!
Jordan’s fundraiser hasn’t ended yet either! There is still time to support Jordan’s achievements…
